About these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of abnormalmissionary.org and our text-message program. Abnormal Missionary ("Abnormal Missionary," "we," "us") is a nonprofit ministry. By using our website or joining our text-message program, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

SMS / Text Messaging Program

Program. Abnormal Missionary offers a text message program ("Abnormal Missionary Text Updates") that sends ministry updates, event announcements, information, and giving opportunities to people who have opted in. Donations are never taken by text message. Giving is done only through our secure website.

Consent. By checking the consent box on our website form and providing your mobile number, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Abnormal Missionary at that number, including promotional messages. Consent is not a condition of any donation, purchase, or participation. You can use Abnormal Missionary and its website without agreeing to text messages. Text-message consent covers ministry updates, event announcements, information, and giving opportunities, and is collected separately from any other agreement or communication channel.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies.

Costs. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Abnormal Missionary does not charge for texts.

Opt out. Reply STOP at any time to cancel. You may also use STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT, or contact us at linda@abnormalmissionary.org by any reasonable means. We will confirm your opt-out with one message and then stop sending. Opt-out requests are honored promptly and no later than 10 business days. To rejoin, reply START or opt in again.

Help. Reply HELP for help, or contact Abnormal Missionary at linda@abnormalmissionary.org.

Carriers. Wireless carriers and their affiliates are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to carrier and device coverage.

Your number. If you change or deactivate your mobile number, tell us or reply STOP so your old number can be removed.

Privacy. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information. We do not share mobile opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Eligibility. You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number.

Donations

Donations are made only through the secure giving page on our website. We never ask you to donate by replying to a text message.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. If you keep using our website or text program after a change, you accept the updated terms.
